You may be wondering why it has taken me so long to write about the events that happened early on this week. Well, the truth is that I have been busy organising the premiere for Monologue Triptych. Yes, Monologue Triptych is finished and it’s time to show it off to people.

I have invited the cast and crew, friends, family and people in the industry. I’m trying to get as much exposure as possible. And there seems to be a real excitement about it. Everybody I have asked is coming. That’s a first for me. Usually people start to citing their excuses to me as soon as they get the invite. Of course it doesn’t mean that they will all be turning up. Life usually gets in the way. I expect people to drop out nearer the time. Though it would be great if everybody turned up.

So the screening takes place next Wednesday and I am rushing around getting things ready for the night. I need to get all the DVD copies done, so to give the cast and crew. It was part of the agreement, when they joined on to make the film, that they would receive a copy. I always get copies to the cast and crew. It’s the least I could do for all their hard work and because all the films I have worked on, most of them I never received a copy of the film. Out of 40 films, I have only received 5 from them. It shows how much some people really appreciate you work.

Anyway, I am looking forward to the screening. It will be good to see everybody there. I hope everybody will like it and I hope that the night will be a big success.
